Historical Corpus of the Council of La Palma

CADIEM (Digital Atlantic Councils in the Early Modern Period) is a digital infrastructure that enables consultation and analysis of the Council Record Books of La Palma (1559–1599), a fundamental source for the study of the history of the Canary Islands during the Early Modern Period. The platform provides a scholarly edition of this documentation, structured as an annotated historical corpus, and facilitates the exploration of the island's political, economic, social, and administrative activity.
